A line of what I believe are waterlily leaves in the murky water among the brown leaves.
Baby Daddy
Since this goose stood guard in the same section as Mother Goose, I just made the assumption that this is Baby Daddy. He stood on the rock for a long time. Guess he was trying to decide if I was a threat to his wife and their eggs.

Speaking of new life bursting forth…I have a feeling she is sitting on several eggs.
