A Bleak Midwinter’s Morn

The first winter storm warning started Monday night and ended Wednesday morning. This is the woods behind my house after not one but two storms blew through my area. This was taken Wednesday morn after the storm blew out of here. Bleak but beautiful or is it beautiful because of the bleakness?

Good Morning.  The snow continued through the night and will keep coming down through Turkey Day.  Here is how the woods looks this morning. The white polka dots are snowflakes.

The wood’s transformation has begun.  Teeny-tiny  flakes are coming down right now and have  accumulated on the log in the left side of the picture.
