“Ol Black Water”

A visit to the East Fork of the Black River in the Grafton area of Ohio, brings to mind the Dooblie Brothers song Black Water – “Old black water, keep on rollin'” That song referred to the mighty Mississippi river.

This picture of Ohio’s Black River was taken in March while walking in a park and taking the path less traveled. The East Branch and the West Branch eventually meet up and then empty into Lake Erie.

I will get back out there and take an updated picture soon. In the mean time, may the moon (whether it is the Mississippi moon, Black River moon, or some other moon) keep shinning it’s light on you and make everything all right.

“Cherries In The Snow”

God graced us with 4 inches of snow Tuesday night. You can just see a hint of the lovely cherry pink blossoms on my neighbor’s tree This photo is named after the iconic Revlon pinkish-red lipstick.

My Neighbor’s Tree
