For the next few posts I will upload pictures taken in previous years. I discovered a lot this morning in looking for a picture for my other blog JoyReturns.

. Anyway this is the same tree as in the previous picture. Now it blooms no more and it’s trunk is split. A lot of trees in the woods took a beating the past few winters but last years winter winds were especially harsh on them.
Sorry for the late posting. This was ready to go and I thought a date and time was scheduled but did not, and then life thru a little hiccup my way that had to be dealt with.

A visit to the East Fork of the Black River in the Grafton area of Ohio, brings to mind the Dooblie Brothers song Black Water – “Old black water, keep on rollin'” That song referred to the mighty Mississippi river.
This picture of Ohio’s Black River was taken in March while walking in a park and taking the path less traveled. The East Branch and the West Branch eventually meet up and then empty into Lake Erie.
I will get back out there and take an updated picture soon. In the mean time, may the moon (whether it is the Mississippi moon, Black River moon, or some other moon) keep shinning it’s light on you and make everything all right.
