“Oh, what a tangled web we weave” are the words that popped into my mind upon viewing this photo. A web of snow-covered, twisted branches crisscrossing each other.

Did you know the saying comes from Sir Walter Scott’s epic poem “Marmion?”

I bet like me you thought it was Shakespeare.
