One Week Ago

A week ago today, the first snow of the season blanketed my little corner of the world.

By the weekend, it was all gone. My world was green again.

I consider this snowstorm a warning shot from God, a reminder that winter is coming. A call to stock up on meat, canned goods, and of course, toilet paper. Because the less time spent driving in snowstorms, the better.

Swimming Geese

This photo was taken with my Samsung Galaxy phone a few weeks ago. The geese, if they are still here, are now practicing their Axels, Salchow, and camel spins on the now frozen pond. The figure skating geese are also sharing the ice time with the hockey team.

Hope your week goes swimmingly well and you are not slip, siding away on snow and ice.

Blurry Monday

Good Morning. You will find a new picture every Monday morning. Hopefully, it will bring a little joy to the start of your week.

The duck from last week turned out a little blurry in this shot. I was going to delete it, but decided that’s how Monday mornings usually feel to most people – a little blurry.
